A Calling
Since moving to Jacksonville ten years earlier, I’d not developed a single strong friendship outside work. I had numerous acquaintances but hadn’t met a “best friend”. Then I met Dale at a men’s small group Friday morning study. We had much in common and soon became close friends. On an early morning walk one Saturday, he shared his vision of introducing Radical Mentoring at our church. Dale had met Regi when he lived in Atlanta.
We both attended the Radical Mentoring Summit in 2016 and our launched our 1st group that September as co-mentors. I’ve had the privilege of mentoring 3 groups so far and have found it to be a calling. It has made me a better man. I’m grateful to God for crossing Dale’s path with mine.
